Introduction
Unfortunately, there are a significant number of children who have lost both of their parents in Malaysia, particularly as a result of the COVID-19 epidemic. Those youngsters who are having a hard time need our collective assistance so that we can look out for them and ensure that their rights are respected until they are old enough to be able to care for themselves.
Objective
We intend to give copies of the Qur'an and the commentary on it, known as the Tafseer, to orphaned children in Malaysia. Our goal is to assist these children in developing a strong belief in Allah (SWT) and to teach them to spread peace and kindness wherever they go, just as our prophet Muhammad (PBUH) instructed us to do. In particular, there may be some or perhaps many children who do not have access to an appropriate education; the very minimum that we can provide these youngsters is our Islamic teachings and Islamic principles as presented in the Holy Qur'an.
Target
This kind act of assistance will bring smiles to the faces of orphans and demonstrate to the disadvantaged, who are sometimes ignored, that the world we live in is full of individuals who care about one another. At Benih Amal, we have faith that when people come together and work toward a common goal, they can make the world a better place. Roughly fifty ringgit (RM50) per copy is what it costs to create and disseminate the Qur'an (USD 12).
"The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it."
- Sahih al-Bukhari
